about me

After receiving my BFA & BA in Visual Arts in 2016, I have worked as a portrait photographer for over seven years. During which time, I have developed an emotive and introspective style of portraiture. My work is most commonly described as "moody," by clients and collaborators. Focusing primarily on individual and two-person to small group portraiture, I mix my creative storytelling style with relaxed and candid poses and compositions.

Preparing for and maintaining a safe environment during my sessions is my top priority, allowing us to capture genuine emotions during our session.

As a queer photographer who grew up and lives in southern Kentucky, I offer an especially unique experience of portraiture for queer clients in which they get to see themselves through the lens of another queer person, while working with someone who understands their experience. I believe portraits should be accessible to everyone, and I strive to work with as many types of people as possible in my photographic work.

For individuals, my most common types of sessions are: headshots, profile portraits for social media & online spaces, and themed, conceptual sessions. For two-person sessions, my most common types of sessions are engagement sessions, partner/couples sessions, or friend sessions. Many couples wish to celebrate or denote milestones of some kind, while others simply want to document themselves or their partners or friends at that moment in time.
